Work has begun on the Erasmus+ MAGnUS project «Master’s Degree Programme in mobile apps and computer games development»
The first coordination meeting on the Erasmus+ MAGnUS project took place at Linköping University (Sweden) on April 3 – 5, 2019 This project aims to create a master's programme in mobile applications and computer games
development.
The project consortium includes 4 European universities, 3 Russian universities and 3 universities in Azerbaijan. Linköping University and Southern Federal University are the project coordinator and co-coordinator respectively.
The project is based on the experience of the best European practices, as a result of which SFedU and other participating universities will develop and implement a unique and currently relevant master's programme in
mobile apps and computer games development.
The participants of the meeting got acquainted with the experience of establishment and successful implementation of master's programmes in the development of computer games and mobile apps, as well as the students’
educational process organization at the universities of Derby (UK), Tallinn (Estonia), Linköping (Sweden) and Tomar Polytechnic University (Portugal).
In addition, the participants were shown the innovative educational technologies centre Didactum at Linköping University, which is engaged in training of teaching staff in the field of pedagogics, consulting on the
development of educational programmes and curriculum, organization of seminars and trainings.
Within the framework of the meeting, the tasks for each Partner University were defined and the goals for the first year of project operations were set.
